Students are registered to nine core modules and should choose two 5-credit option modules.
Students take five stage 2 core modules (25 credits) and should select at least three 5-credit History option modules and two 5-credit Politics option modules.
Students who remain in UCD for the full year should take 55 option credits at level 3 plus 5 elective credits.
Students should select either 25 or 30 option credits of Politics modules: At least 20 credits should be taken from the 10-credit Politics Options and 5 credits from the 5-credit Politics Options.
Students should select either 25 or 30 option credits of History modules: At least 20 credits should be taken from level 3 10-credit modules and 5 credits from level 3 5-credit modules.
Students who take up a trimester-long exchange or internship for one trimester and are in UCD for the other trimester only should take 25 option credits at level 3, plus 5 elective credits.
