The Graduate Diploma in Advanced Physiotherapy Studies aims to broaden the Chartered Physiotherapists’ knowledge base in the areas relevant to the practice of physiotherapy mapping to their educational and career pathway needs. Graduates will have the opportunity to achieve excellence in professional practice as advanced clinicians, critical thinkers, and life-long learners. This programme offers a flexible graduate educational pathway where students can register as part of a structured degree programme on a part-time or full-time basis. We value and encourage our students to be active, motivated and independent learners who can initiate scholarly research in the area of physiotherapy. We encourage students to develop life-long learning and transferrable skills, such as advanced interpersonal and communication skills. Given the broad range of modules available from within the School that students may select, teaching, learning and assessment approaches include practical sessions, case studies, and on-line group work. Discipline specific national and international experts deliver the programme.
Tuition fee information is available on the UCD Fees website. Please note that UCD offers a number of graduate scholarships for full-time, self-funding international students, holding an offer of a place on a UCD graduate degree programme.
