UCD researchers and academics, you are invited to join us for an open discussion on using LinkedIn for career development and research promotion.
Dr. Niamh Harbourne, Assistant Professor, School of Agriculture and Food Science and Professor Francesco Pilla, School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy will talk about how they use LinkedIn to improve research visibility, find collaborators and promote colleagues. Tara Hughes & Naoimh O’Connor, UCD Careers, will answer questions on how researchers can use LinkedIn to further their careers, either within or outside academia. Finally, Jenny Collery, UCD Library will answer questions on best practice in using the platform and the evolving applications for researchers.
This seminar is aimed at all researchers, PhD students, postdoctoral and academic staff. We hope to have an open discussion, where we can all learn from each other’s experiences.
