| The income from a fund provided by the artist Miss Sarah Purser (1849-1943) and Sir John Purser Griffith is applied to provide Medals in the History of European Painting to be awarded to the candidates who achieve first and second places having completed all the assessments for the two-year Diploma in the History of European Painting. The Purser Griffith Medals are awarded to the student who achieves the highest GPA, with distinction, on completion of the Diploma and to the student who achieves the second highest GPA. |
