| The Ciaran Benson medal will be awarded annually for the best written essay submitted by a student on the single honours degree in psychology. Grounds for awarding the medal may include an impressive and idiosyncratic style, overall quality of composition, novel imagery, clarity, distinctive and impressive use of argument, or for a capacity to see and use links to ideas in other disciplines that surprise and advance the subject of the essay. This award is to commence in the academic year 2010/11. |
