Long Description: The money subscribed by members of the Agricultural Science Association on the retirement of the late Mr F P Hussey, BAgrSc, in appreciation of his years of service (1926-1961) on the teaching staff of the former Faculty of Agriculture, was, at Mr Hussey's own request, handed over to the University to form a prize fund. The Hussey Prize in Agribusiness is awarded annually to the Food and Agribusiness Management student who obtains the highest aggregate grades in the modules AERD 40020 International Food Marketing and AERD 40040 Food and Agribusiness Strategy in the Stage Four University Examination in Agricultural Science. The value of the award is approximately €200. A student receiving this prize will not be eligible to receive the Agricultural Economics Society of Ireland Award.
