Long Description:	A scholarship of approximately €300 is awarded annually to commemorate the late Patrick Hogan, first Minister for Agriculture in the Irish Free State. The award is made on the results of the Stage Three University Examination in Agricultural Science. No student holding a scholarship or bursary exceeding €1,000 in value is eligible for the scholarship. The scholarship may be withheld in any year if no candidate obtains a sufficiently high standard.
