Long Description:	This medal was presented to the School by the former Head of the Department of Biochemistry Professor Michael G. Harrington. The medal is awarded annually by UCD School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science to the candidate with the highest GPA upon graduation from the B.Sc. (Honours) Degree programme in Biochemistry, provided this person has also acheived first class honours. Small monetary value, but only if funds allow.
