Long Description:	This award, comprising a bronze medallion and prize, is awarded annually to a fulltime PhD student for the most outstanding postgraduate research work in Mechanical Engineering. It is open to student in the third year and above. The award is based on the quality of the research work, the quality of presentation of the work in research seminars, and prospects to publish the work in appropriate academic or professional journals.
