Digital Business is rapidly evolving to become a central resource in the pursuit of business objectives and strategies. As a direct result, commercial, non-commercial, indigenous and global organisations are increasingly driven toward integrated electronic interactions throughout the value chain. This project-based module will identify and evaluate innovative Digital Business initiatives adding both sustainable value and competitive advantage to organisations.

Learning Outcomes:


On completion of this module, students should be able to:

(i) Demonstrate in in-depth understanding of the major topics surrounding digital business.
(ii) Understand how organisations utilise digital business initiatives to gain and sustain competitive advantage.
(iii) Utilising the business model canvas, identify and analyse innovative digital project business opportunities.
(iv) Draft a digital business strategy for an organisation.
