On completing the module students will be expected to: • display creative-thinking skills including critical analysis of theory and integrating differing streams of knowledge; • discuss and provide solutions for Sustainable Procurement; • acquire an in-depth knowledge of the Sustainable Procurement field; • have a strategic focus and the ability to apply concepts operationally; • work in teams as well as communicate effectively to multiple audiences.
Indicative Module Content:The module content will be finalised after discussions with the class in Week 1 but could include key ideas relating to Sustainable Procurement. Some examples of content are Basics of Procurement, Procurement Function, Strategy, Sourcing, Outsourcing, Relationship Management, International Issues, Risk, Information, Disclosure, Sustainability, Purposeful Procurement, Future of Procurement.
