Curricular information is subject to change.

This study path is an optional track for the MSc in Digital Innovation programme. It offers an opportunity to conduct independent studies with the support of a supervisor with expertise in the student’s area of interest. Most of the student’s time is spent in self-directed study and writing activities.

This module is the first part of the supervised independent study path. This module offers to postgraduate students the opportunity to select and focus on a topic of their interest from a digital innovation perspective. They will devise and start an independent study taking responsibility for their learning process while gaining an in-depth understanding of a particular aspect or case of digital innovation.

In agreement with module coordinator and supervisor, students can engage in different approaches to learning:
a. a study targeting an academic outlet,
b. an action-research project engaging with an existing organization on a quasi-consulting basis,
c. a design science project focused on technological requirements from a real case,
d. a grounded and credible proposal for a startup (or other new ventures).
