On completion of this module students should be able to: (i) Understand the nature and purpose of corporate financial statements; (ii) Understand how financial accounting information systems work in practice (iii) Carry out advanced financial statement analysis (iv) Describe the role and purpose of Managerial Accounting (v) Apply, understand and critically evaluate fundamental managerial accounting practices with specific reference to cost-volume-profit analysis, budgetary control, decision-making and internal performance evaluation.

Feedback on the test will be delivered online through the provision of a grade, solution and additional comments for each question after completion of assessment. Feedback on the group assignment will be provided through the provision of detailed grades by question for the assignment. Further, a report on overall strengths and weaknesses observed in answers will provided online following the completion of the assessment.
