The primary aim of this course is to provide an integrated understanding of Business and Society in relation to other key subjects such as Marketing, Strategy, OB, Communication and International Business; and to discuss how it is related to business performance (financial and non-financial).

About this Module

Learning Outcomes:

On completing this module, you will be able to:

- take a duty based traditional ethics further to find strategic solution to ethical dilemma, one that leads to performance of the organization.
- have opporunities to debate on the latest news, controversial cases,
- learn tools and models which allow ethics issues to incorporate multiple perspectives of ethical issues, via cross cultural and inter-diciplinary approaches.
- identify challenges and opporunities of ESG in business and society
- take part of forward thinking in business and society such as AI in ethics.
- learn how to apply theories to practice through combined lectures and lively case discussions.
- improve communication skills through various role plays during the case discussion.
- Ultimately, to identify ways to improve both ethical reputation and performance of companies.

Indicative Module Content:

This course deals with at least 20 hours of ESG related content in addition to an assignment focusing on ESG, accounted for 80% of the total grade. .
