The value of mentors can never be fully understood, unless experienced. Marketing Practice, a unique module to the MSc in marketing Practice, introduces students to industry mentors, developing an understanding of what the 'real marketing world' is like and how to make a career within it. The advice and career guidance given by these mentors is analysed and examined by students to ensure learnings are understood and techniques given to grow the students practical experiencees within the MSc in Marketing Practice.

About this Module

Learning Outcomes:

Students will come into contact with mentors at different levels of organisations to discuss and analyse career development and marketing relevance, within and organisation.
1. Understand the value in networking and developing relationships and soft skills, to succeed in the business development world
2. Understand the role of marketing within the existing market environment
3. Interviewing and analytical skills to ensure deeper understanding of career development
