This module provides students with an ability to build sophisticated financial models in Excel using advanced functions and techniques.

About this Module

Learning Outcomes:

After completing this module students should be able to:
- construct, de-bug and analyse complex formulas in excel.
- use range names, scenarios and data tables.
- read/parse data from multiple sources.
- normalise data and perform share simulations
- sort, search, subtotal, group and use data validation.
- query data using multiple criteria.
- use Pivot tables and slicers.
- match data to other data sources and lookup tables.
- visualize data using appropriate graphs and graphics.
- use conditional formatting.
- construct VBA macros and activex controls.
- write user-defined functions.
- link and manage multiple spreadsheets.
- design dashboards and use camera.
- protect cells, files and share data in a secure way.
- use relationships between files and run PowerQueries.
- use Microsoft PowerBI.
- use Microsoft Access database

Class Test: Excel Core EC, Excel Expert EE and Microsoft Access AC MOS tests.
