MA 2018

Following my BA in English with Drama in UCD, I was looking for an MA programme that combined intensive practical learning with focused academic study of practitioners and their work. The MA in Theatre Practice was the perfect solution. Combining GSA and UCD’s expertise has led to a fully rounded and unique programme, which gave me a practical and academic base from which to continue my career into the future.

Students in the MA in Theatre Practice will have access to UCD’s full range of on campus teaching and rehearsal studio facilities, with regular guest lecturers from theatre makers and professionals from the theatre industry. The Gaiety School of Acting also offers a suite of centre-city studios and the Smock Alley Theatre, located in Temple Bar Dublin, where practical workshops and presentations of student performances will be developed, rehearsed and showcased.
