We promote autonomous and collaborative learning by providing a vibrant academic environment for the teaching and use of the Irish language, supported by our multi-media language learning centre and our Student Space (An Seomra Caidrimh) to encourage Irish-language usage amongst the student body. All teaching and communication is conducted through the medium of Irish and in small groups. This programme uses teaching, learning and assessment approaches such as oral, written examinations, project work, essays and presentations, and a minor dissertation on a topic relating to the individual student’s academic interests.

MA Student 2019

Thug mé féin faoin MA sa Nua-Ghaeilge anseo in UCD mar gheall ar an réimse leathan ábhar atá ar fáil ar an gcúrsa seo. Is féidir modúil a thógáil a chlúdaíonn an Ghaeilge ó 1200 anuas. Cuireann foireann acadúil a bhfuil cáil go náisiúnta agus go hidirnáisiúnta uirthi na modúil seo ar fáil, foireann a bhfuil réimse leathan, ilghnéitheach taighde curtha ar fáil aici. Cuirtear ar mo chumas díriú ar mo réimse spéise féin ach tugtar dúshlán dom freisin mo thuisicint ar an nGaeilge a fheabhsú ar bhealaí éagsúla.
