GradDip Pain Management

Graduate Taught (level 9 nfq, credits 60)

This programme addresses pain as a multidimensional and complex phenomenon, requiring effective diagnosis and management based on current knowledge and treatment of pain outcomes.  The challenge for the student, supported by an expert clinical facilitator, will be to make a connection between theoretical pain knowledge and experiential pain knowledge in order to formulate an appropriate balanced treatment plan across a continuum of care, giving due consideration to patient expectations.
