Professional Certificate in Advanced Disability Studies is one of the core modules on the MSc in Disability.
The Professional Certificate in Advanced Disability Studies provides an advanced perspective on cross-cutting and topical issues in disability. Students are encouraged to reflect on models of disability, measurement of disability, intersectionality and disability, leadership within the disability sector and the lived experience of disability. This module is supported by guest lecturers with expertise by experience and profession.
This course is ten weeks duration and is delivered during one of the academic terms during Autumn, Spring or Summer. Classes are delivered on campus and are typically three hours duration.

A primary degree NFQ Level 8 with a minimum 2.2 classification (second class honours, grade two) or International equivalent is required.
