Professional Practice (CPD) Architecture

Occasional (level 75 nfq)

Each year the School offers a range of Continuing Professional Development courses. They range from lectures to workshops to full academic modules qualifying for recognised CPD points.

The UCD Professional Practice lecture programme and online programme are also available as CPD and applications will be accepted in July and August. The lecture programme for 2016 is available as lectures in Semester 1 and also available online on a flexible basis in Semester 1 or Semester 2.

Architectural Practice: Mondays 5, 12, 19 and 26 September (11:00am-5:30pm)

Construction Legislation: Mondays 3, 10, 17 and 24 October (11:00am-5:30pm)

Procurement & Contracts: Mondays 7, 14, 21 and 28 November (11:00am-5:30pm)

Bookings for the Architecture- Professional Practice CPD 2016 programme are now open and payment must be made before the start of each session. As a CPD student you can attend lectures and/ or follow the course online through lecture notes, reference material and podcasts, which will be available in the 10 days following the session. This CPD programme is suitable for architects and other construction professionals and practitioners who are interested in Continuing Professional Development for career development, up-skilling or as a refresher course.  The lectures are delivered by a range of academics and practitioners in specialist areas across the range of areas relevant to practice, procurement and construction in Ireland. 

Note: Assessments are not included in the CPD course, applicants who to intend to register for UCD assessments/ academic awards should contact the School directly.
