Graduate Research Duration

Details of the minimum period of registration permitted for a graduate research programme(s) can be found in sections 7.10, 7.11, 8.11 and 9.12 of the Academic Regulations e.g. 3 years for a full-time PhD student.

Details of the maximum period of registration for such programmes, at which point the permission of governing board is needed to continue, can be found in sections 7.10, 7.11, 7.13, 8.12, 9.10 & 9.11 of the regulations e.g. 4 years for a full-time PhD student.
