Learning Outcomes:
At the end of this module the student should be able to:
Demonstrate knowledge and the ability to apply a range of epidemiological principles relevant to the investigation and management of disease at farm or broader population level;
Explain how key disease prevention strategies can be applied;
Describe the basis for investigative problem-solving approaches at herd and flock level;
Demonstrate knowledge of the key "herd-level" diseases and issues relevant to cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry and fish

Taught material is be delivered via online lectures, with the opportunity to raise questions and discuss topics online. This module involves material delivered by industry experts as well as academics from UCD.
