This module will focus on appropriate procedures to approach, handle, and conduct routine chores on food producing, equine and companion animals. It will consist of a series of introductory lectures and a series of practical classes.

About this Module

Learning Outcomes:

On completion of this module students should be able to:
- Demonstrate basic competency in the handling and management of the major farm and companion animal species.
- Describe the key elements of the main food production systems (milk, beef, lamb, pig) at farm level.
