The aim of this module is to introduce graduate students to the key concepts underpinning good practice in third-level teaching and to help them prepare to undertake some basic teaching activities.

On completion of this module students should be able to:
Appraise a range of teaching, learning and assessment methods.
Demonstrate a critical understanding of some of the basic principles and practices of 3rd level teaching and learning.
Demonstrate the use of inclusive design in the production of a teaching plan.
