The module will help you develop a range of important academic skills including:
presenting to an academic audience
acting as a discussant on an academic paper
asking supportive questions and
providing constructive comments.
To tailor skills requirements to students needs, at the first session you will be invited to suggest topics on which to focus one or two sessions. The remainder of the sessions will be devoted to the dissertation topics of students who present during the course of the module.
