This module assesses key concepts associated with the term 'discrimination' and analyses how these concepts are embedded in law.

It draws on interdisciplinary and socio-legal scholarship in exploring whether legal measures address the forms of discrimination experienced by various social groups.

Irish law on access to services, education, and accommodation is used to explore how concepts interface with the law in practice.
