On completion of the module students should be able to:
1. Evaluate the continuing evolution of human rights knowledge and assess the contribution of social justice movements to that evolution.
2. Construct arguments about the various challenges to the realisation of human rights, and the factors that contribute to human rights abuses.
3. Critically reflect on concepts associated with social justice such as dignity, freedom and equality.
4. Communicate their knowledge and understanding of human rights and social justice to various audiences

Feedback on the continuous assessment research tasks and the group project is provided through a blend of peer review activities and group feedback. Individual feedback is provided to students on their final assignments, using a rubric.
