On successful completion of this modules students will:
Have become familiar with theories of space and place
Demonstrate an awareness of social, political and cultural issues related to Spain, from the end of the civil war to the present-day.
Be able to analyse and interpret film scenes making use of technical terminology to discuss in terms of narrative, aesthetics and socio-cultural and political context.
Produce original, theory-informed and context sensitive critical analysis of Spanish films.
