This module provides an opportunity for research students to discuss their ongoing research in a collegial setting. The discussions involve consideration of broad sociological questions, as well as the specific research each student is engaged in.

Upon completion of this module, students should have enhanced their academic skills and professional development by improving their competencies in terms of (a) preparing and giving an academic presentation on one's research; and (b) providing feedback on the research of other students.

How will my Feedback be Delivered?

The Roundtable functions as an on-going process for discussion, reflection, criticism, assessment of the process and experience of conducting PhD research. Accordingly feedback in its various forms is continuous throughout the module.
