On completion of this course you will be able to:
- understand standard oral language clearly slowly articulated
- understand brief and simple texts which use frequent and daily vocabulary and of immediate importance.
- speak simply but effectively with relative accuracy.
- produce written texts with simple structures and relative fluidity
- use sufficient lexic and phraseology

Approaches to Teaching and Learning:

Teaching and Learning approaches deployed consist of active/task-based learning enhanced with Virtual Learning Environment (Brightspace).

Students are expected to engage in self-learning activities every week, such as, reading and listening to materials relating to the course modules; completing tasks and exercises (including grammar).

Oral interaction in class is expected.

Engagement with Virtual Learning Environment to solve any doubts or issues.
