Academic Year 2023/2024

This module focuses on the science of team effectiveness in order to provide participants with an understanding of what constitutes team outcomes and which processes and inputs have been shown by research to impact team effectiveness. This grounding will assist the team coach in focusing their approach and building rigor and measurement into their work.

The importance and complexities of contracting with teams is also explored along with the role of diagnostics as a first key intervention into the team system. Types of team diagnostic approaches will be discussed and key instruments reviewed.
