On completion of this module, students should be able to:
• Establishing your purpose:
o Identify the optimal conditions for improving your performance
o Explore the role of purpose in leadership
o Develop personal statements of purpose.
• Developing your presence
o Explain the concept of presence and its role in leadership
o Identify and apply a wide range of tools that can contribute to the development of presence.
• Making an impact
o Identify obstacles to presence and impact, and strategies for overcoming them
o Explore tools for impactful, persuasive communication
o Learn how to perform at your best in situations of critical importance, and in adverse situations.
• Personal performance planning
o Provide a reflection opportunity and a structured process for personal performance planning
o Develop a detailed plan for achieving goals that are consistent with your sense of purpose, and for strengthening your personal impact and presence.
