The aim of this module is to provide students with the opportunity to capture their personal and professional skills development and to gain an understanding of how theory presented in modules translates to practice.

Students choosing to complete the Business Internship Summer module have the opportunity to document and reflect on a summer internship experience of 6-12 weeks duration. The self-sourced internship must be approved by the Quinn School in advance of commencing (May deadline).

On completion of the internship, student will capture their learning through an internship report (September) and undertake debrief and reflection activities across the first four weeks of Autumn term.

The module will be assessed on a Pass / Fail / Distinction basis and will be assigned to Stage 4 (Autumn Trimester). Successful completion will result in a pass / distinction grade which will be grade point neutral.
