The modalities of Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in particular will be used in correlation with cadaveric cross sections to acquaint students primarily with normal anatomy as seen clinically. This module will be delivered completely via electronic learning using online lectures, videos and electronic resources hosted on Brightspace and does not require attendance in UCD.
Assessments may be conducted in UCD.

Requirements, Exclusions and Recommendations
Learning Recommendations:

A knowledge of anatomy will be beneficial for this module.
This module is best suited to health care and associated professionals who encounter cross sectional imaging on a regular basis.
However, this module should not be taken as an elective by current UCD BSc radiography students as this will be a core module at stage 3 of the radiography degree programme in the module RDGY 41220 cross sectional anatomy.
