This module will provide the student with a comprehensive knowledge of normal cross sectional human anatomy of the head, thorax, abdomen and pelvis. The modalities of Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in particular will be used in correlation with cadaveric cross sections to acquaint students primarily with normal anatomy as seen clinically. This module will be delivered via electronic learning using online lectures, videos and electronic resources hosted on Brightspace and does not require attendance in UCD.
Assessments will be conducted in UCD.

SPECIFIC RESOURCE REQUIREMENTS

Approaches to Teaching and Learning:
This module is delivered entirely online via online presentations which students can flexibily engage with at their own pace and rewatch as required. Importantly each of the radiological presentations has in built formative assessments for reinforcement and to provide students with feedback on their learning.
