PSYC40270 Personal Professional Development and Integration (PPDI) Y4

Academic Year 2023/2024

PPE is a way of integrating the learning from all other course modules with trainees personal and professional experience. There will be several different experiential and reflective tasks designed to promote self-reflexivity in students. These come from an understanding that supervision, training, and therapeutic practice are all connected through the processes of learning and development. PPE group experiences including a progressive and more advanced understanding as each year progresses will contribute to a greater awareness of the role students’ own life and professional experiences play in their professional practice. The module will assist student learning about the complexity of the process of change in oneself and others. PPE group structure and topics details for Y4 are reported in the Programme Handbook.
