Learning Outcomes:
On completion of this module students will be able to:
1. Understand how tests are developed and standardised, and to appreciate the margins of error in testing
2. Comprehend the relative importance of cognitive and non-cognitive factors in understanding individual difference
3. Appreciate the legislative and policy framework relevant to testing.
4. Understand the purposes of testing and assessment and develop the ability to interpret test scores and integrate those test scores with other forms of assessment.
5. Write and interpret reports based on test data.
6. Report the findings of psychometric assessments in a way that is intelligible to a lay person.
