The student will be able to:1) Demonstrate an advanced understanding of the tenets of psychoanalytic technique 2) Develop proficiency in oral presentation 3) Attend to and engage in an informed and supportive critique of the clinical work of peers 4) Demonstrate a capacity to work therapeutically with patients following psychoanalytic principles 5) Articulate a response to the question of ethics when the unconscious is a fundamental premise of practice.
