To orientate and familiarise students with clinical biochemistry and diagnostic laboratories, in context of overall healthcare service, covering the processes, procedures, policies and techniques relevant to such diagnostic practice including knowledge of the tools and techniques to ensure best evidence-based practice can be applied across the total testing pathway.

About this Module

Learning Outcomes:

Understanding of the application of techniques and tools and framework for implementation and delivery of tests, both generally within clinical diagnostics and specifically within the context of the clinical biochemistry and diagnostic endocrinology laboratory.
