On successful completion of this module students should be able to:
1. Demonstrate a good knowledge of the role of the physiotherapist in sports.
2. Demonstrate knowledge of current evidence for management of sport related disorders of the spine and periphery, justifying the role of physiotherapy with reference to the literature.
3. Be able to develop, design and evaluate a progressive sports/function specific exercise programme respecting the different stages of inflammation and healing.
4. Demonstrate an understanding of assessment and management of foot and ankle mechanics.
