PHAR40270 Env, Food, Occup Toxicology

Academic Year 2023/2024

The aim of this module is to introduce students to the key concepts within the areas of environmental, food and occupational toxicology. In addition this module aims to introduce students to new areas of concern such as nanoparticles, the toxicity of which can be linked to the three main toxicological areas addressed within this module. Students will be introduced to the regulatory measures required to protect against these adverse effects and this knowledge will enable students to critically assess relevant case studies.
