On completion of this module students should be able to:
• Critically appraise the emerging scientific literature in performance analysis and coaching and apply to specific coaching problems.
• Determine the performance indicators that will produce the most meaningful and insightful performance data across a range of sports.
• Demonstrate competence in computer-based, video recorded and manual methods of performance analysis in both technical and tactical sporting contexts.
• Construct an appropriate feedback intervention for a sports team or individual and critically evaluate the impact of the intervention.
• Formulate the role of a performance analyst in professional practice as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
