At the end of this module students will be able to:
Recognise where occupational health is placed within national occupational safety and health management and public health strategies.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the risks to the health of employees in the workplace and associated work-related illness and occupational diseases.
Critically evaluate the systems used for managing occupational health in the modern work environment.
Argue the rationale for current occupational health interventions using an evidence-based approach.
The learning outcomes of this module are consistent with achieving the objectives of SDG 3 Good Health and SDG 8 Decent Work from an occupational health and wellbeing perspective.

Student will receive a provisional individual grade in Brightspace within 20 working days of the submission date of the assignment (A, B, C etc. as per UCD grade descriptors).
