This includes but is not limited to the role of the PHN in the management and care of clients with a chronic illness, disability or mental health issue. The component which focuses on family violence considers the identification and care planning of particular cases which relate to child, domestic and elder abuse. It is also examines the relevant policy, legislation and scope of practice of public health nurses in relation to these particular groups and individuals.
