Approaches to Teaching and Learning:
The variety of teaching and learning strategies used in the programme are based on adult learning principles and are learner-centered. In the classroom setting these include online lectures, clinical skills workshops, discussions, simulations, flipped classroom activities and reflection. Learners are supported to apply their theoretical knowledge and clinical skills in the clinical setting, with supervision and support from the programme coordinator, clinical nurse facilitators and clinical staff. Feedback and feedforward strategies will be used on an ongoing basis in the clinical setting to assist students to reach their full potential.
