Curricular information is subject to change.

This module is designed to culminate and advance students' theoretical and practical skills in both general and children's nursing, preparing them for their upcoming internship. Students will be supported in applying the knowledge gained throughout their general and children’s nursing programme through a dynamic blend of didactic lectures, small group work, technology-enhanced learning, and immersive simulation workshops. By the end, students will be expected to demonstrably apply evidence-based nursing practices, including patient-centered care, critical thinking, clinical judgment, effective decision-making, competent technical skills, and strong interpersonal and communication abilities in both general and paediatric contexts.

This module is an essential requirement for professional registration, with its credit load reflecting the effort needed to achieve the learning outcomes. Students are expected to engage with all assigned reading materials and actively participate in all online activities and face-to-face teaching sessions. The module also includes mandatory simulation components; students must attend, engage with, and complete all preparatory learning for these simulations.
