Students will refine their information retrieval skills, and their ability to critically analyse research literature. Students will develop their understanding of research methodology and methods and consider ethical issues associated with the research process. This module encourages students to gain an in-depth insight into the role of research in the development of evidence-based midwifery practice and the importance of research ethics and research integrity in the process. Supported through lectures, directed learning, group work and reflection the students will learn to value the role they have to play in delivery of evidence-based Midwifery care.
