You will be assessed against the criteria and standards of the National Competency Assessment Document (NCAD) 6 domains of competency by your preceptor and the nursing team in the clinical areas where you are assigned. You will have 3 formal meetings which are documented and signed in your portfolio document NCAD. You will have feedback as you progress from your preceptor and possibly from other nursing colleagues.
