On successful completion of this module students should be able to:1. Define health and altered health.2. Discuss the factors that influence the health of persons and populations across the lifespan such as psychological, social and cultural factors.3. Identify milestones and transitional periods in the lifespan, and discuss aspects of the health of individuals during these milestones and transitional periods.4. Outline factors that promote the health and well being of individuals and populations across the lifespan. 5. State the ways that the health of indviduals and populations may be assessed and measured.
